I spent 20 years in technology and product, including senior product roles at Dropbox, NetApp, NCR and Verbit.ai.
I opened my own business when my wife and I decided to travel the world together. Since then we have lived and worked from a few different places, with our two young kids along for the ride.
The business came with us, and so did the clients. I wanted to keep doing it properly wherever we happened to be.
What I found is that the work itself was never the problem. It was everything around it. A good question deserves a fast answer. A proposal deserves to go out while the conversation is still warm. Too often my clients had to wait, because I am one person and a day only holds so many hours.
So I stopped seeing AI as something interesting to learn about, and started seeing it as a way to give clients that kind of responsiveness without inventing hours I don’t have.
Within a few months I had a full day of my week back, and I was closing around 30% more of the deals I quoted for.*
That is when it clicked, and it is what led me here: building AI agents for other small business owners who want the benefits without becoming experts themselves.
*These are my own numbers, from my own business. Every business is different, and nothing here is a promise of any particular result.
